Re-parenting your inner child



Good morning, afternoon and night wherever you are


It is not too late to meditate, practice deep breathing, repeat affirmations, gratitude, self-hugs, cathartic shake and setting an intention.


Throughout the day, mindfulness. This includes boundaries, segment intending, monitoring your thoughts, smiling, laughter, forgiveness and less complaining.


Bedtime reflection, Praise yourself and count backwards from 100-0.

Good reparenting of the inner child


We create our own emotions....If your adult self is stuck and therefore cannot cope, you cannot heal your inner child. You need to become aligned and connected to your higher self first first. The higher self or inner being has all the answers because it is grounded in reality of truth and wisdom.


What to consider;


-Be accountable and responsible for the beliefs that you holding onto now by stopping your emotions from rolling down the train track.


Ask yourself , what do I believe, and why do I believe it?


The process of self enquiry and self accountability will get you fit for purpose, and fit for the inner child reparenting work.


Always remember your inner child does not want you to connect with your higher self. Your inner child does not trust what it does not see. The inner child wants something it is sure of, it wants to be absolutely sure about the future, it wants certainty. It does not want to believe in the non physical part of you.


If you listen to your inner child and make it your compass it will tell you;

we cannot do that,

we are not perfect,

we should accept ourselves as we are,

it's our habit,

we will fail,

it is difficult,

what's the point

it's easier said than done

we need validation and

we are used to this.


Listening to its insecurities will keep you on the carousel of despair with self defeating approaches. The inner child guidance makes you focus on worrying, getting anxious, lashing out, criticising, defensive behaviour, procrastinating, lies, dishonesty, stress, blame, lying awake at night thinking about what will or will not happen. Yet that is making a choice about which road you follow.


Choosing your higher self to lead will guide your path and open up possibilities. The new work will shift your mindset and change your energy. You learn new habits to replace those of the inner child and they become your new beliefs.
