Of being good people

Many of us think we are good people. When something happens to us, we ask, " Why do bad things happen to good people?"

There is a phenomenon I learnt of pertaining to goodness and badness. Whether you think you are good is dependent on the thoughts you think. How you determine your goodness in that case can change from moment to moment. However, being a good person might be more dependent on your intentions in any given situation.

The universe records and karma keeps score. If you are focusing your thoughts on improving your life and that of others, you are doing good.

If you feel triggered, and self-parent without labelling people, you reframe and create solutions then focus on the present, that is being good people. We are all human, get triggered. What we do with the triggers is what might determine whether we are good people or not.

That is because good people move on from situations. They do not plot against anyone or try to convince anyone to be and do what they are not ready to be or do.

When you recognise and know your place in the universe, and you do not push against anyone and anything , you are officially good people.

Good people are not complaining about other people all the time.

Not being judgemental, letting people choose and supporting them as far as you can and as far as they allow, is being "good people!" Good people know their limitations and boundaries too. They know when they need to stop. Being good people is not about allowing other people to take advantage of you.

Not forcing matters is being good people. Releasing people from your expectations is good people.

Good people are teachable.

Good people do not jump to conclusions. They try to look into other perspective to avoid taking action from a place of wounding.

Good people are not competitive. They are not trying to outdo anyone. They are not trying to show they are better than anyone else. They are being themselves.

Good people avoid emotional dependence. They learn resourcefulness..

Good people do not tell someone a piece of their mind, or try to "show them" because they know that is convincing mode.

Good people do not move goal posts to serve their agenda.

Being good people means staying anchored in who you are.

Good people do not keep repeating negative narratives because they are aware of the impact of their story on what they bring into existence.

Good people do not filter, and focus on negative feedback instead of noticing the positives too.

Good people notice their contribution to a conflict or situation they are in. They try to work on their side of things.

Good people are not looking for anyone to rescue them. They are looking for resources to support themselves.

Good people do not see label others bad. They observe and evaluate behaviour and ask questions.

Good people do not enable behaviours that do not help others.

Good people reflect on their behaviour, situations and take time to balance the story. They consider other perspective.

Good people do not revenge, wish others bad things or be happy when something wrong happens to someone who does not agree with them. Good people do not intentionally harm others.

Good people are those people who surrender and let go, trust and allow the universe , others and a lover to do what is best for themselves, for the situation. Good people understand when it is time to let go. It does not matter what it is they are letting go, but good people prioritise their peace of mind over universal warfare.

Good people move on, because they recognise that people have a reason season and purpose in their life.

Are you good people? Yes, I meant are you good people?

Perhaps I meant being good people refers to people who love themselves. Yes, I meant people who love themselves.
