How you deal with people who do not agree with you
Your coping strategies in times of hardships.
How you treat others when you are successful.
Your biases and cognitive distortions
Your Ego defenses
How you give and accept feedback
What you like to learn to do differently
Why do you need to know yourself?
Know where you are to know where you need to go.
Create a safe home from which to explore world.
Create a safe space to go to, after dealing with the world.
To minimise reactions and also to have some place to go to after reacting.
To know what you want so that you do not accept what is not good for you. Or whatever others want.
If you know who you are and what you want, you know how to get your needs met. You therefore set a standard for how you get needs met.
You know what to accept and what not to accept.
You also know what you do, why you do it and what you can do differently.
