1. Mutual respect.

Treat each other with the respect you would want from anyone.


2. Mutual trust

You both allow each other to be who they are as an individual. No pressure. No trying to change anyone.


3. Mutual support.

Offer support to each other as you would want from anyone.


4. Holding space.

Learn to listen and be there for your partner when they are going through an experience.


5. Boundaries

Hold on to yourself. To your values. To all that you hold dear.


6. Oppenes to express.

You both want to know what makes your partner tick and feel alive. Make requests and use "I feel" statements!


7. Be in the moment

Let go of past and future. Be here now!


8. Play

Be fun to be around. It makes others want to be around you!


9. Vulnerability

Be open and create safety. Express, do not bleed or retain.


10. Consistency

Be consistent and recognise that you no longer enjoy roller coaster rides!


11. Communication

Very important. To feel heard, seen and acknowledge. It has got to be mutual too.


12. Let go

Do not hold on or force outcomes. Let both of you travel free.

Trust and allow your partner to know and do what is best.

Trust the process. Things are always working out.


13. Hold on to yourself.

Love and value yourself.

Focus on yourself.

Invest in yourself.

Accept your differences.
