Appreciate your body and your immune system smiles

I hope you are keeping well and healing your life every day. Just like food remember to adhere to your routine;

meditation,

deep breathing,

gratitude,

affirmations,

self-hugs,

tapping,

Carthartic shake and set an intention.

Laughter is key.


Mindfulness and segment intending.

Boundaries.

Kindness.

Hug and praise yourself


One important routine we all need in our lives is addressing the physical dimension. The very act of healing your psychological existence addresses your physical , social and spiritual dimension too. However, there are specific actions you can take to connect with your body.


1.When you wake up, every morning be grateful for life and for your body.

Daily or few days a week, give yourself time to appreciate your body and thank it for all that it does for you.

Accept, breathe into and thank all your body parts.


2.Pay attention to what you are feeding your body. What goes into your body determines your health and existence.


3. Be aware of food, drink and substance addictions. These affect your body, your relationships and overall existence.


4. Be aware of your sexual patterns. Learn to respect your body. If you attach easily, do not rush to sleep with people. The way we do sex can be compared to the way we eat, or ingest substances or behave. Do sex in your best interest.


5. Exercise your body to keep things going. To keep you blood flowing. To release tension. Shake, stretch, lift weights, do cardio. The body is designed for all these activities. There are activities suited for each of us, even if that means someone needs to support us to achieve them.


6. When you are triggered, practice compassion for your body and address what is happening in it. Name the bodily sensations of your trigger, observe and address the thoughts, soothe and create solutions and reframes. Shake off the energy with a carthartic shake. Create boundaries to minimise triggers.


7. Rest, chill and have fun. Your body does so much for you. Give it time to rest. Do nothing. Meditate. Appreciate.


Our bodies love it when we love and appreciate them. They will do amazing things for us if we love them. They house us. They are what people point at as us.
