This is the video session for SIFTSEM if you do not have the time to journal. SIFTSEM Sensations, images, feelings and thoughts, Soothing, Endorphin (cathartic shake) Meeting unmet needs. This course is designed to help you to learn to SIFTSEM with examples. Ensure you use the journal in each exercise daily. Firstly, it is important to practice other self-care tools daily. Learn emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring as well as problem solving to meet your unmet needs and self-parent when triggered or likely to be triggered. SIFTSEM is not only a trigger preventative tool, it is a management tool. SIFTSEM helps to improve your emotional baseline if applied daily with other self-care practices. This tool is used for trigger management and also to answer life questions. Apply it when you are triggered to familiarise yourself with your triggers. Practised daily, SIFTSEM helps you improve your relationship with your body. When you are familiar with your triggers, you minimise recurrence. You can also minimise impact of your triggers as well as eliminate some triggers altogether. Two video chat sessions per week are included in this exercise. NB If you do not complete steps for 3 consecutive days, your programme will be terminated without warning. Once you start, you will not be refunded.
